Project Description
Hola Mohalla – 2023 was organized from 6thto 8thMarch, 2023at Sri Anandpur Sahib city and from 3rdto 5th March, 2023 at Sri Kiratpur Sahib. Around 30-35 lakhs people visited during this Mahotsav and more than 350 langars/ community kitchens were set up by various organizations/Sangats. During the whole duration, around 50 MT solid waste was generated and managed scientifically. This Mahotsav achieved status of SUP Free & Zero Waste by preparation & execution of detailed action plan, conducting various IEC & CB activities and decentralized waste management. District Administration, ULBs’ teams, Volunteers and PMIDC teams played remarkable role for making the Hola Mohalla – 2023 as SUP Free & Zero Waste event.
