Department of Local Government, Govt. of Punjab signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited

Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company (PMIDC), Department of Local Government, Govt. of Punjab signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO), a Navaratna Enterprise, under Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India on November 22, 2024, at Punjab Municipal Bhawan, Sector 35-A, Chandigarh.

Smt. Deepti Uppal, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, PMIDC and Sh. M. Nagraj, Director, Corporate Planning, HUDCO signed this Memorandum of Understanding for developing close cooperation in the field of training and capacity building. HUDCO’s Human Settlements Management Institute (HSMI) will conduct such programme in close collaboration with the Department of Local Government, Punjab for the Urban Local Bodies.

During this ceremony, Mr. Sanjay Bhargav, Regional Head, Mrs. Shobha Kumar, Joint General Manager (Projects), Mr. Sanjeev Chopra, Joint General Manager (Law) and Mr. Ashish Goyal, Senior Manager (Secretary) from HUDCO; and Mr. Harsatinderpal Singh Dhillon, General Manager (Projects), Dr. Manpreet Dhaliwal, Manager (Capacity Building) and Dr. Sumit Arora, Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening Specialist from PMIDC were present.
