Gender Sensitization and Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) POSH Act (2013)

Project Description

Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company (PMIDC), Department of Local Government, Punjab, in collaboration with the Centre for Social Research (CSR), New Delhi, organized a training on the topic entitled ‘Gender Sensitization and Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) POSH Act (2013)’, on June 28, 2024, at the Auditorium, Punjab Municipal Bhawan, Sector 35A, Chandigarh. The purpose of the training was to generate awareness regarding the POSH Act, 2013.

The session was delivered by Dr. Manasi Mishra, Head of the Department, Research and Knowledge Management, Centre for Social Research. As many as 100 participants from various Urban Local Bodies in Punjab as well as from the headquarters attended the training.
