There are six Regional Deputy Directors of the Local Government Department which look after the affairs of Local Bodies falling in their jurisdiction. These are:

• Amritsar Region
• Bathinda Region
• Patiala Region
• Ludhiana Region
• Ferozepur Region
• Jalandhar Region
